• FEEDING GUIDELINES

You should feed according to your puppy's appetite. If he cleans up the amount of food given, increase the amount. If he does not clean up the food given, reduce the amount.

Nursing Pups are ready to start nibbling on moistened soft food at three to four weeks of age. Add one part warm water, milk, or broth to three parts Hi-Standard 32/18 Puppy Food and mix until soft. Allow the puppies to eat as much as they want.

Puppies should be fed four times per day until they are three months of age. From three to six months of age, they should be fed three times a day and from six months to one year, twice a day. Always have fresh, clean water available for your dog.

Dogs kept outdoors during cold winter months may require 35 - 50% more food. Hot weather may decrease your dog’s appetite.
